July 31, 2022 from 12:00p-2:30p CSTThe activist community needs quiet, sensitive people like you…
- Aren’t sure how or where to start
- Get overwhelmed and shut down
- Think you don’t have the skills or energy
- Have engaged in activism but experienced burnout
I’ve invited my friend, Omkari Williams, back to give her signature workshop to help you break through these barriers and turn your personal story into action. As an experienced activist who is highly sensitive and introverted herself, she believes there are many faces of activism and knows the world needs what you have to offer.
Activism is more than being the face of a movement or marching in the streets.
Activism for Introverts & HSPs (online via Zoom)
Sunday, July 31, 2022 from 12:00-2:30 p.m. Central Time (GMT-05:00)
(Check your time zone here.)
Join activist Omkari Williams (and me!) as you engage your senses and develop a plan for turning your story, vision, and strengths into action. In this workshop, you’ll:
- Uncover your Activist Archetype based on your unique strengths
- Explore your story and clarify your vision for the change you want to see
- Identify key groups and organizations that can help you act toward your vision
- Create your personal game plan for action that you can actually sustain
BONUS: Following the workshop, you’ll receive Omkari’s My Activist Blueprint workbook to further support your activist journey.
Sometimes you have to push yourself to do things that are uncomfortable, but that doesn’t mean throwing yourself into something that causes burnout.
You can start in a small way. We simply invite you to find your way.
Coming again soon – stay tuned!
Omkari Williams is a speaker, writer, podcast host, and coach for activists, both experienced and new, helping them develop and sustain their activism. Her passion is teaching people the power of story as a tool in changing social policy. Omkari says, “Our stories are bridges between us and others and can be immensely powerful in creating societal change. Yet the stories of so many have been neglected. When we learn how to leverage the power of our collective stories we can create meaningful change and help bring justice to the world.”
On her podcast, Stepping Into Truth: Conversations on Race, Gender, and Social Justice, she interviews people doing activist work in areas from Abortion Rights to Zero Plastic Waste.
Her writing has been featured online by Elephant Journal, My Empowered World, Women For One, and Tattooed Buddha and in print by Savannah Magazine and Paprika Southern.
