HSP Resilience Circle

A nurturing online community for sensitive people to foster connection and inspire meaningful action.

Connect to your senses, feed your playful side, and learn to embody the strengths of your sensitivity.

Share in meaningful dialogue with other sensitive people who care about social and ecological well-being.

Get creative with how your strengths can play a role in support of community, equity, and regeneration.

Are you seeking connection with other highly sensitive people who feel as much as you?

Do you want to contribute to a better future but feel overwhelmed about what to do or how to get started?

Life as a highly sensitive person means you feel everything more intensely–the awe of nature, the emotions of those around you, and details that often go unnoticed by others.

The ability to feel deeply is a strength that connects you to your humanity. Your connection to nature may mean you’re extra aware of big issues like climate change, giving you a heightened sense of concern and responsibility.

Yet, it can also feel isolating when you have a level of emotional depth and sensory awareness that few comprehend – or when you feel so much that you struggle to channel your empathy into meaningful action.

Sensitive people like us need a space to feel and normalize our emotions and a space to play and experience joy. We need a space to recognize and empower our strengths and skills.

We also need each other. Community is the lifeblood that allows us to experience belonging, share and support each other, and build resilience together.

Our newly designed HSP Resilience Circle combines nourishing embodied activities and connective breakout sessions to help you:

– Nurture your senses, feed your playful side, and embody the strengths of your sensitivity.

– Share conversations with other HSPs who care about social and ecological well-being.

– Empower your unique strengths and turn your empathy into meaningful impact.

What to Expect in Our Circle Session

Monthly circles begin with a group check-in and opening reflection question. Then you’ll be guided through an activity before we break into small groups for deeper connection. On occasion, you’ll be invited to do a short activity (15-20 min) in preparation for our session.

We use 3 approaches for circle activities, which will vary month-to-month.

  • Nature-Based Expressive Arts as a means to foster creative play, remember we are nature, invite conversation with other living beings, and inspire ecological care
  • Guided Somatic Movement to slow down, feel your resilience as part of nature, and embody your vision and values
  • Strength & Skill-Finder Exercises that engage your senses and help you identify your unique strengths to use for ecological and social impact

Each quarter, discussions and learning are anchored within a guiding theme that we’ll explore together.

Activities I share come from what I’ve learned from my friend/mentor, Gabriela Flores of La Duna Centro Ecológico, Joanna Macy’s Active Hope, and The EarthBody Institute.

To offer a supportive space that respects each person, we…

…Maintain group agreements to foster an environment of safety & mutual support
…Welcome the full spectrum of emotions and aspects of each person (no good vibes only!)
…Honor diverse forms of participation without pressure to engage the same way

*Note that this is a sharing circle, not a therapy group or workshop.

Spring Quarter

Join us for a season of collective nurturance and growth this spring.

In April, we’ll explore our stories as the foundation of ecological care, honoring our roots and those who have influenced our connection to nature. May invites us to plant seeds of intention, reflecting on how our values and strengths can guide actionable steps. In June, we’ll observe the actions we’ve sprouted, assessing what’s growing within and around us and what we want to nurture. Though not required, you’ll be invited to mirror these stages with a simple plant care practice.

You’ll have access to 3 circles on the following dates from 11:00a-12:45p CDT.

Saturday, April 13, 2024

Saturday, May 11, 2024

Saturday, June 1, 2024

Registration closes April 12, 2024.

You don’t have to go through life feeling alone and carrying the weight of the world.

In our circle, you’ll forge genuine connections with other deep feelers, as you uncover and harness  your strengths for meaningful impact.

And… you’ll do this in a way that embraces your playful spirit and sensory awareness.

Cancellation Policy

We think you’ll love the HSP Resilience Circle, if you give it a try, but we know circumstances change.

You may cancel your membership for a full refund provided that you cancel within the registration period. You will need to send your request no later than the last day of registration.

No refunds will be issued after the registration period.

No partial refunds will be issued for missed sessions.

In order to sustain this circle, we rely on a minimum number of registrants. Thank you in advance for your understanding.

Are sessions recorded?

No. This is an interactive sharing space, not a class or workshop. We do not record sessions in order to ensure an environment of safety and maintain confidentiality.

Can I drop in for one session?

Participants are asked to register quarterly in order to build deeper connections with other participants and ensure that we have enough people to run the group. We’ve set tiered pricing to offer you some flexibility according to your availability budget.

Do I have to turn on my video?

We encourage you to turn on your video. Being able to see each other can help build connection, as well as provide a sense of safety for the other participants. However, if there’s a day when you can’t or don’t want to turn it on, we ask that you at least introduce yourself at the start of the session so that we know who is with us.
